Buying
How much house can we afford? Where will I put the Christmas tree? Will the utilities break our budget? What if we have more kids? Could we afford this on one income? Are these good schools? Wonder what the neighbors are like? What kind of loan do we need and/or can we get? Are there going to be unexpected repairs? Are we willing to trade character for newness? Can we agree on what we want? Is a two story going to work for us? How do I pay for updating needed? Will my family like it? What is an HOA? Would we have to change churches? How hard is this yard going to be to maintain? What if my job changes? What does that payment include taxes and insurance? Will we be safe?
We wish we had a crystal ball and could pick the absolute perfect house for you with all of these questions in life. Instead we can serve as a professional and friend through the process giving you counsel as both on many of these questions.
As a professional and friend, in order to best serve you, we need time with you to really get to know what you’re looking for in terms of wants & needs as well as a good idea of your financial situation. We also want to help educate you on the process so that you feel confident throughout this buying process. During our initial consultation, we’ll spend an hour to hour and half together at our office or yours to talk about all of these things and more.
Many agents will agree to look houses with you first and then get to this down the road. We hope you understand the value in us meeting upfront to discuss so that we can do the best job possible for you. Buying is such an emotional process that can result in huge swings of elation and disappointment. Our upfront consultation will help the process go smooth from start to finish.
